Best Buddies

People with intellectual disabilities are often excluded from society because of their differences.  Best Buddies is determined to end social isolation for people with intellectual disabilities by establishing meaningful, lasting one-to-one friendships with their non-disabled peers.  These friendships help increase self esteem, confidence and the abilities of people with and without intellectual disabilities.

This is an excellent program that all of our children can benefit from; we invite you to come learn more about it. If you have a student with Autism or Aspergers in Dade County Schools you’ll want to learn about what this program has to offer.

This night we will also honor the students at
Coral Reef Senior High School in the Best Buddies Program.

For more information please contact the Autism Society of Miami at 305-969-3900
Or email tbecerra19@aol.com

The Caring Committee helps families in their time of need. We are always in need of committee volunteers from all parts of Dade-County. If you feel you can help and want more information on the Caring Committee please contact the Autism Society of Miami-Dade at 305-969-3900.
